Knight in Shining Armour
I love the internet. I use it for almost anything. Research, playing, games for the children, loads of birthday activity stuff, and all my banking. Well almost all my banking. Every now and then I receive cheques. For whatever reason. And try as I might, I cannot get the piece of paper to go into the pc. So I have to go to a bank. And I forget. For months. So I finally decided enough was enough and I would use my lunch time to go to the bank, line up for ages, and deposit the cheques. For this I would forgo my exercise. Then my darling DH rang and asked what exercise I was doing for my lunch and when I told him he said he would walk to my office, pick up the cheques, bank them himself on the way back, and I can go and do my exercise. And he did. And I did - for an hour to make it really worth the effort DH went to. I love him.
Points FTD: 23
Sugar Points: 11 (oops)
Points Left FTW: 81
Exercise: 60 min walk around Sydney. Walk home from station including 50 steps and 2 steep hills (which I did without stopping - yaaa).
That was so nice of him! Lining up in a bank is enough to ruin anyone's day. Internet banking is great!

I love him too! In a completely different way, of course! If you walked home from the station, does that mean you walked up the blardy big hill on Foveaux Street?

That was so sweet - isn't great when you get support like that!

What a wonderful man to support you like that.
I've got one of those men at home too. He'll always give up something if he knows that I have something planned that makes me happy i.e. running, socialising.
Don't you just love them!

Aww, that is so gorgeous! We have wonderful partners :-) I hate lining up in banks too. It's so great to see DH so supportive. Hope you have a brilliant day and I hope I haven't made you start seeing your Avantis again *grrr*!!

Awww, where do you find men like that? That must feel so great that you have such support behind you. Speaking of, thank you for yours in recent days, it really helped me get off my behind again and start getting stuck into this! Awesome job getting your walk done. XD

No wonder you are doing so well. Can you ask him to come to my work each week and pick up my cheques? I detest going in to banks.

I hate banks too. Yesterday I nearly had a tantrum in the middle of one - I went to pick up a credit card and they weren't going to give it to me (even though they can send it to our house without me having to go in) - because I don't have any ID with my married name on it. We've only been married a year and my passport and drivers license are both up for renewal soon anyway so I'm just waiting to do it then. Anyway - I nearly screamed and stamped my feet (for F@#Ks sake - I have banked at this very branch since I was BORN!). Grrr! :-)
Thanks for setting me right about the snow too - that's really interesting! How ignorant I am :-) I always thought of aussie as being hot!

The internet has turned me into an anti-banker too - and I too have to alter my routine in order to deal with cheques etc. I think the bank should now offer a man with every account to relieve us of these very stresses. Now THAT would be service?
Sounds like you've got a gem of a hubby there M!! Have a great weekend.
